Kyle Busch gets 8th win, 1 of 4 in final

AVONDALE, Ariz. (AP) The three most dominant drivers of this NASCAR season will fittingly race each other for the championship, a chance for Kyle Busch, Kevin Harvick and Martin Truex Jr. to settle which team is truly the best.

It was Busch who claimed the latest round, winning for the eighth time this year Sunday to tie Harvick for the most Cup victories. Bell wins, stays alive for Xfinity title

AVONDALE, Ariz. (AP) Christopher Bell saved his season by winning Saturday at ISM Raceway to snag a spot in the Xfinity Series championship.

The victory was the series-high seventh of the season for Bell, last year's Truck Series champion. Despite his dominance throughout the year, Bell crashed in the previous two races and started Saturday's race outside Phoenix ranked seventh in the standings. His only shot to make it to the finale at Homestead-Miami Speedway was via a victory, and Bell came through to earn a shot at a second NACAR national title. Read More...

Jeffrey Earnhardt gets shot with Gibbs

AVONDALE, Ariz. (AP) - Jeffrey Earnhardt has landed a nine-race Xfinity Series deal with Joe Gibbs Racing for next season beginning at Daytona.

Earnhardt will drive the No. 18 Toyota, undoubtedly the best car he'll have raced to date in his NASCAR career. JGR has more than 150 victories in the Xfinty Series. Read More...

Moffitt wins in Phoenix for Final 4 spot

AVONDALE, Ariz. (AP) Brett Moffitt won the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series on Friday night at ISM Raceway to earn a spot in the four-man title chase at Homestead.

NASCAR seeks stock buy of Daytona owners

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. (AP) NASCAR has submitted a non-binding offer to acquire all Class A and Class B common stock of International Speedway Corp. not already owned by the controlling shareholders of auto racing series.

The intent is to combine ISC and NASCAR as one privately run group of companies led by the France family. ISC owns 12 tracks across the country that host NASCAR Cup races, including Daytona International Speedway. Read More...

AVONDALE, Ariz. (AP) Kevin Harvick shrugged off a cheating scandal to show he's still a legitimate title contender by winning the pole for his final crack at making the championship race.
