Glasnow struck out one, ending the game with a 7.45 ERA and 1.91 WHIP on the season.
Analysis: Glasnow dominated at Triple-A despite control issues. He's not getting away with it in the majors. Though he managed to not walk a batter for just the second time in 12 starts this season, he's now given up 12 homers in 54 1/3 innings. Glasnow retired just 12 of the 22 batters he faced as his ERA rose to 7.45, which would be the second-worst among MLB starters if Glasnow had enough innings to qualify. His inability to pitch deep into games is keeping him off the list.

Glasnow struck out five, ending the game with a 6.97 ERA and 1.87 WHIP on the season.
Analysis: It's the fourth time in five starts in which the former top prospect hasn't lasted beyond five innings, a stretch in which he's 1-3 with a 7.71 ERA and has allowed seven homers in 23 1/3 innings. Glasnow obviously needs to show more before he can be trusted as a fantasy option.

Analysis: Glasnow was pretty solid and was the victim of the Pirates' typically terrible defense. He's actually making considerable progress despite some still-ugly numbers.

|Apr. 11 10:21 AM PT11:21 AM MT12:21 PM CT1:21 PM ET13:21 ET17:21 GMT1:21 10:21 AM MST12:21 PM EST12:51 PM VEN21:21 UAE12:21 PM CT-Glasnow walked five - including four straight in the first - and left after throwing just 35 of his 64 pitches for strikes, ultimately getting tagged with five runs in a 7-1 loss to the Reds on Monday.
Analysis: Glasnow can't find the strike zone and can't hold runners on, having allowed four stolen bases Monday. That seems like a recipe for disaster at the big league level.
